Extrapack began construction of its 4th factory
On the 15th of February we did groundbreaking on the construction of our new plant number 4. This is a strategic project for the future development of our company. Its preparation took nearly 9 months, during which we did various studies and prepared the design. Our goal is to bring together under one roof all the processes for the production of flexo-printed paper packaging. With this new facility we will triple our production of flexographic printed paper bags and sacks, expand the range of products and sizes. Some of the equipment for this plant has already been ordered.

In this plant we will produce products from ecological papers, certified according to the strictest standards for sustainable wood sourcing. The packaging will be printed with nature-friendly water-based inks. We expect great increase in the variety of our products - from food bags, through popcorn funnels and e-commerce envelopes, to packaging for the most luxurious fashion brands.

The plant is located about 5 km west of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria on the land of the village of Ledenik. It will employ about 80 people with different qualifications. There will be a real built-up area of over 7,000 square meters, and on its roof will be located photovoltaic plant, which will generate part of the necessary electricity.
